Lakewood National Golf Club

This Golf Club located in Lakewood Ranch near Sarasota, Florida is special to me because it was my first project for Arnold Palmer Golf Course Design Company. I was asked to go shoot the Piper course months before it opened, as it was going to be featured in Golf Architecture Magazine. I was excited to get down there and capture this unique course. The APDC Team did a great job winding this course through a typical Florida environment while keeping many features intact all the while making it appealing to the surrounding community. The Lakewood National Community by Lennar offers a second championship 18 holes named the Commander course.
